How It Works
Once you have signed up for the ClassicNames.com affiliate program (membership is free) we will provide you with all neccessary banners and links to place on your website. Each link will contain your affiliate tracking id#. When a new member signs up with ClassicNames.com via your affiliate link, we keep track of your referral for the lifetime of their membership, and pay you a commission on every domain they purchase*. Additionally, if an existing member (referred by another affiliate) is referred again by you and purchases a domain from ClassicNames.com during that visit, you get the referral commission on that sale.
* Exception: If a member you referred purchases a domain after being referred to it specifically by another affiliate, they get the commission.
What's The Commission?
For every domain sold, ClassicNames.com earns a brokerage fee of 10% from the sales price, with a minimum of $200. The affiliate who refers this sale, or this member to us, gets 50%* of this fee. For example, if a domain is sold for $800, ClassicNames.com takes a fee of $200, and the affiliate receives about $100. If a domain is sold for $10,000, ClassicNames.com takes $1,000, and the affiliate will receive about $500.
* Exception: Commissions are calculated from the brokerage fee less any bank wire or paypal fees.
How Much Can I Earn?
Say for example, on average, you refer 100 visitors per day to ClassicNames.com. If just 1% of these purchased a domain, even at the lowest prices, you would earn $100 per day!. Thats an amazing $3000 per month, or $36500 per year!
If 50% of these buyers purchased domains over $5000 (a low price for premium domains), you would earn a minimum of $5250 per month!
